Latest Reviews"The grapes come from Kingsvale, Postcode 2587, how clever and in the salubrious surrounds of a roadside motel, or the lonely lympic village, there's nothing like a nice red to keep you company." 8.4 / 10 Max Crus - Grape Expectations - The Daily Examiner - 17th August 2008 2005 Postcode [2587] Cabernet Sauvignon "New from the Kingsvale Vineyard, Hilltops region, this has earthy, blackberry and currant aromas with a hint of eucalyptus. Wines & Tasting Notes |
The POSTCODE concept was devised in early 2007 with the first wines released in early 2008. POSTCODE is a new label for Meerea Park Wines, based in Pokolbin.
The POSTCODE label allows Meerea Park to become a specialist Hunter Valley producer, while also being able to dabble in other varieties and styles of wine not easily produced from the Hunter Valley. With Rhys Eather as the winemaker, POSTCODE will be able to deliver the same innovation and quality Meerea Park has become known for.
The philosophy is to make wines from both established and emerging regions that show unique regional and varietal characters. These wines will be from single regions and on many occasions single vineyards, allowing us to give them a POSTCODE designation.
